Get ready to step back in time and uncover the stories that shaped Outback Queensland with the Experience Cunnamulla Pass — featuring the Artesian Time Tunnel and All Aboard 3D Sound and Light Show.

Start at the Artesian Time Tunnel inside the Cunnamulla Visitor Information Centre, where you’ll hop into a simulated opal mine lift and travel back 100 million years.

Along the way, you’ll discover how the mighty Great Artesian Basin was formed, learn about the region’s opal mining days, and meet the prehistoric creatures that once ruled the ancient Eromanga Inland Sea — all brought to life through interactive displays and a short film.Then at 3.15pm, head over to the old Cunnamulla Railway Station for All Aboard – the 3D Sound and Light Show.

Sit back in comfy recliners as a cheeky holographic Station Master (played by actor Steven Tandy) takes you on a fun and lively 40-minute ride through Cunnamulla’s past — from the wool boom to the railway days and everything in between.Packed with stories, surprises and outback charm, this pass is a must-do for anyone wanting a real taste of Cunnamulla.
