The Territory Wildlife Park is a world acclaimed nature attraction nestled in 400 hectares of natural bushland, only a 45 minute drive south of Darwin. The park showcases the wildlife of northern Australia, which you can see up close and in their natural habitats. Highlights include an extensive aquarium with a walk through tunnel where you can stand nose to nose with a 4 metre saltwater crocodile, the daily birds of prey display, nocturnal house and the bird walk. A visit to the park can easily be combined with a refreshing swim afterwards at the neighbouring Berry Springs Nature Park. During a visit to the Territory Wildlife Park, visitors can expect to view the spectacular free flight and natural behaviour of the Northern Territorys Birds of Prey. Discover the difference between kangaroos, wallaroos and wallabies, and see them roam free which is popular with international visitiors and children. Catch a glimpse of the elusive nocturnal creatures of the Top End, a group representing 80 per cent of the Territorys wildlife. You can learn fascinating facts about reptiles at the Reptile Talk, explore a representation of Top End river system, from the escarpment down to the mangroves on the coast. Immerse yourself in the underwater world of the Aquarium Tunnel, experience an underwater view of a saltwater crocodile in air conditioned comfort and witness the spectacle of pelicans soaring in to enjoy their meal, whilst wild birds and animals enjoy the sanctuary of the parks billabong.
