Starting from Crown Casino car park in Perth, you will be driven to Northam in the Avon Valley to meet the rest of the passengers and the ballooning team that will take you on a ballon flight. Flights happen between April and November as itis too hot and windy to fly during summer. The Avon Valley is beautiful in the wet months, with enormous plantations of yellow canola during part of the season. Depending on the wind direction, you will fly over the vast farmland that comprises the wheat belt or over lovely rolling hills in areas like Toodyay, where you will often see kangaroos and even emus. After the flight and a beautiful breakfast, you will be driven back to Perth.
