Situated just 45 minutes from Cairns by fast catamaran, Fitzroy is the perfect place to spend the day and soak up some tropical warmth. Check-in is open from 07:30 - 08:30 with the Sunlover vessel departing Cairns marina every day at 08:45 and arrives at the Island 09:45. Snorkelling equipment to be collected onboard the vessel prior arrival at Fitzroy Island. Once on the island you are free to walk around to beautiful untouched sandy beaches and snorkel or swim right off the beach. Glass Bottom Boat tour included at pre-arranged time. There are numerous rainforests walks to be done and premium buffet lunch at Fitzroy Island Resort is includes in your package. Sunlover Sundancer boarding from 3:30-3:45pm for your return trip to Cairns arriving at approximately 5:00pm. Rainforest Walk: Explore a little further by adding a guided tour to the Secret Garden to your Fitzroy Island adventure! This 45-minute experience includes travels a 1km return track into the rainforest, where the expert guide will showcase some interesting facts about the unique ecosystem. Under the rainforest canopy, the stillness and tranquillity will amaze you. This pristine rainforest is home to a plethora of fascinating flora and fauna all coexisting in harmony.
