Embark on the ultimate Ningaloo experience departing from Exmouth, available from March to July. With the option of booking to either swim with these gentle giants on the Ningaloo Reef or for those who prefer to keep dry, you can stay on the vessel to observe whale sharks in their natural environment. Swimmers will get the opportunity to slip into the water for the unforgettable experience of swimming with a whale shark in a full day experience complete with souvenir photos and video.

- Minimum numbers are required for this tour to operate. If minimum numbers are not met, you will be contacted by a member of our team the day before your scheduled tour and you will be offered an opportunity to reschedule or, alternatively, you may choose to cancel your booking and receive a full refund.
- It is always recommended you travel with flexibility in your itinerary and with travel insurance. Your swimming ability will be assessed by our crew during the morning snorkel.
- You must be physically fit with prior snorkelling experience or be a strong swimmer and able to swim unassisted for 50 metres in open ocean conditions.
- You will need to be comfortable in the water without a floatation device as each whale shark swim involves between 5–7 minutes of swimming in the open ocean, and the swims are repeated several times with short five-minute rest periods between the swims.
- You can opt out of swims at any time if you wish. Participants must be at least 6 years of age and proof of age may be required for child rates.
- All children will need full adult supervision and be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the tour.
- Children under the age of 6 are not permitted on the vessel. - It is your responsibility to ensure you have a suitable level of health and fitness to undertake this tour.
- In addition to the physical exertion of swimming and snorkelling in the open ocean, a high level of mobility is required as you will embark and disembark from a small tender to the vessel for the tour and climb back out of the water on to the moving boat platform with a small ladder.
- NEED TO KNOW: Whale sharks are completely wild, and do not want to disrupt their natural behaviours in any way. If you join the morning or afternoon snorkels on the Ningaloo Reef, you must be physically fit with prior snorkelling experience or be a strong swimmer and have the ability to swim unassisted for 50 metres in open ocean conditions
