- Meals, Snacks, Drinks Guests will have an opportunity to stop enroute to the National Park to purchase lunch/snacks to take along for the tour day. This stop is in a regional town at a local Bakery. The selection includes sandwiches, rolls, wraps etc. If you have special dietary requirements or prefer other choices, you may wish to come prepared with your own food of choice. Lunch will be in a picnic area at Freycinet National Park. Afternoon stop at Devil's Corner Winery offers fresh seafood and oysters from Freycinet Marine Farm, wood-fired pizza, coffee, ice-creams, wine tasting. This stop is around 30 minutes in length at approx. 03.00pm in the afternoon and a good place to refuel and refresh before the return drive to Hobart.

1 Day Hobart to Launceston via Wineglass Bay one-way Day Tour
Take the scenic route from Hobart to Launceston, spending the morning by the sea and the afternoon in the grapevines; After leaving Hobart travel along picturesque roads through seaside towns of Orford and Swansea to arrive at Freycinet National Park. Then walk to Wineglass Bay lookout, a moderate 45-minute;hike that gets the heart pumping before revealing one of the best views in the Southern Hemisphere. Gaze out over treetops to a sweeping vista of white sand and turquoise water, soaking in the beauty of Wineglass Bay. Depending on how active you’re feeling, you can extend your hike down to the beach for swimming, relaxing and dolphin spotting or return from the lookout with your guide to check out Honeymoon Bay, Sleepy Bay and Cape Tourville Lighthouse. The afternoon brings us to Devil’s Corner winery, perched high on a hill overlooking Freycinet. It’s the ideal place to kick back with a glass of wine, fresh seafood platter, woodfired pizza, tea, coffee or artisan gelato before ending our day in Launceston.

- Optional - Longer walking option to Wineglass Bay Beach (longer walking option 2 hours return walk, approx. 1000 stairs), Visit; Honeymoon Bay, Cape; Tourville;Lighthouse (easy 20 mins flat walk). Afternoon break at Devil's Corner Winery site - wine, fresh seafood, woodfired pizza, tea, coffee or artisan gelato.

- Pick up and drop off are from select hotels only - allow for 1 x check-in sized bag and a day pack. This tour is designed for traveller's with minimal luggage please.

- Guests should be able to load and unload own luggage.

- Main luggage will be stored in the vehicle trailer throughout the day. All gear needed for the day should be carried in a day pack onboard the tour vehicle.

- This tour is an active day tour and an excellent way to maximise travel time in Tasmania.

- Tour includes a hike to the Wineglass Bay lookout. This is a moderate hike, 1.3km uphill for around 45-60 minutes. A suitable level of general health, fitness and physical ability is essential. You will be participating in outdoor, active activities and therefore subject to the weather conditions of the day.

- How fit do you need to be? It's recommended a good level of general fitness and mobility to get the most out of the tours.

- There are always easier and more challenging options in our itineraries, and you can always choose to sit out a walk if you’re not feeling up to it on the day.
