9:30 am Your experience begins at the d’Arenberg Heli pad where you will meet your private helicopter pilot. Take in the magnificent coastal and regional views from the air on the 30-minute scenic flight. 10:30 am Make your way to the highest viewpoint of McLaren Vale on Level 4 of the d’Arenberg Cube. The Blending Bench is a hands-on, interactive experience where you play winemaker. A palette of wine parcels, each with distinctive flavours and textures, is melded in search of balance, fullness and finesse. We did the physical work – picking, crushing, fermenting, foot treading, basket pressing and barrel ageing, and you get to create a truly unique wine. You then bottle, name and label a 750mL sample to take home and show off to your friends. 12.00pm At your leisure, continue to further explore the d’Arenberg Cube, making your way back down the various levels back to the Alternate Realities Museum on the ground floor, where a self-guided exploration will take you through a space filled with wall-to-wall art installations designed to excite and awaken your senses. All self-guided tours are assisted by Audio recordings from Chester Osborn, via your smartphone accessed by QR codes which can be found alongside the exhibits.

Bookings are essential and subject to availability at the time of booking. As alcohol is served, all guests must be over the age of 18 years. No cancellation fees are charged if more than 72 hours' notice is given. If cancelled within 72 hours, the full experience price (100%) will be charged. Helicopter and biplane flights require a maximum combined weight of 200kg (must be advised at time of booking) and will be subject to weather conditions.
