The d'Arenberg Cube is a five-storey multi-function building set among Mourvèdre vines. The building has the optical illusion of floating in a vineyard, each level with spectacular views overlooking the rolling hills of the Southern Mount Lofty Ranges. Inside you’ll find a cellar door, a casual dining restaurant and numerous artworks and features throughout, curated by chief winemaker and 4th generation family member, Chester Osborn. 10:30 am Your experience begins on Level 3, the home of Settlers Spirits Gin. Lear about the origins of gin and the distilling process. Explore the different taste flavours and combinations of the botanicals used in gin making at Settlers Spirits. During this hands-on experience you will create your own gin recipes and bottle your favourite in a 200ml bottle to take home. 12:00 pm At your leisure, continue to further explore the d’Arenberg Cube, making your way through the various levels including the Alternate Realities Museum on the ground floor, where a self-guided exploration will take you through a space filled with wall-to-wall art installations designed to excite and awaken your senses. All self-guided tours are assisted by audio recordings from Chester Osborn, via your smartphone accessed by QR codes which can be found alongside the exhibits. NB: The wine and gin blending experiences are not hosted on the same levels/spaces and are hosted separately.
