An Australian Luxury Escapes vehicle will pick you up from your hotel to commence your Yarra Valley tour. We travel east of Melbourne towards the ancient mountains of the Dandenong Ranges and the world class wineries of the Yarra Valley, where the premium food and wine, artisans, galleries and stunning scenery utter ultimate indulgence. One of our first winery stops for the day will be at Coldstream Hills which has a particular focus on the internationally heralded varieties, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Taste outstanding single vineyard and reserve wines. Next, we visit one of the first established wineries in the Yarra Valley, St Huberts. This heritage brand established in 1863 was instrumental in the birth of the Yarra Valley as a wine producing area, here you will experience a full seated tasting of up to 3 wines. Afterwards, we make our way to Yering Restaurant, where the best produce of the Yarra Valley is showcased, casting the spotlight on small, local growers. Here, set within stunning architecture and overlooking expansive views of the Yarra Ranges, you will enjoy a 3 course meal paired with a glass of beer, wine, or soft drink. Your next superb tasting of the day will take place at the recently renovated cellar door of Dominque Portet. Set amongst the beautiful rolling vineyards of the Yarra Valley, the L'Apero menu draws on the Bordeaux roots to bring you French family classics. Engulf yourself in the history of 40 years of craftmanship in Australia. As the day draws to an end, you have experienced the chance to admire the regions lush natural location, chat to the owners and indulge in the best of their vintages. We will depart back to Melbourne, returning you to your hotel in the early evening to conclude the tour.
