Your private guide will lead you to Palmer and Co, passing by convict-built buildings in Bridge Street and Sydney's famed Tank Stream. Enter the almost-secret Abercrombie Lane to discover a 1920s speakeasy, complete with period styling and live music. Experience the electric atmosphere of prohibition-era revelry. Continuing our journey, we venture down Bridge Lane and George Street into the heart of the historic Rocks precinct. Admire the Victorian architecture and pass by Australia's oldest pub, the Fortune of War, built by convict labour. Explore Nurses Walk and discover the city's earliest streets, crafted from the ballast of First Fleet ships. Our next stop is the Endeavour Tap Rooms on Argyle Street. Immerse yourself in the charm of this heritage building as you enjoy house-brewed beers made with Australia's finest barley and hops. Sample a beer paddle featuring their top brews and savour the delicious flavours from their light grazing menu. Conclude your evening with a short walk to The Doss House on George Street. Discover this subterranean whiskey bar, once an Opium Den during the Australian Gold Rush. Enjoy locally produced whiskey or gin while soaking in the bar's rich history and ambiance.
