An Australian Luxury Escapes vehicle will pick you up from your hotel to commence the Half Day Private tour. Departing from your city hotel, enjoy a relaxed drive through The Rocks, Sydney’s oldest precinct. As you pass cobbled laneways and historic sandstone cottages, your guide will share stories of early settlers and convicts. Continue past Observatory Hill with views over Darling Harbour, then through Sydney’s financial district and along Macquarie Street, home to Parliament House, The Mint, and Hyde Park Barracks. Passing St Mary’s Cathedral, the tour takes you into The Domain and the lush Royal Botanic Gardens. From here, take a short stroll to Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair, a historic sandstone lookout offering one of the best panoramic views of Sydney Harbour, including the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Rejoining your vehicle, continue along the harbour foreshore past Woolloomooloo, Potts Point, and Kings Cross, then through the stylish bayside suburbs of Double Bay and Rose Bay. Here, stop to enjoy morning tea in a quiet spot within Sydney Harbour National Park, surrounded by bushland and harbour views. Next, travel out to Watsons Bay and South Head. Take a short walk along the cliffs for sweeping views over the Pacific Ocean and back towards the city skyline. From here, it’s a relaxed drive to Bondi Beach, with time to take in the coastal atmosphere, before passing through Centennial Park on the return to Circular Quay, where the tour concludes.
