Your journey begins with a transfer from Emma Gorge to the Station at El Questro. On arrival, embark on a special Munbula Cruise along the Chamberlain River, guided by the Traditional Owners of El Questro Station, the Ngarinyin people. As you glide through the ancient gorge, you’ll hear stories of Country, learn about its deep cultural significance, and connect with the living heritage of the Kimberley. Following the cruise, enjoy lunch at the Steakhouse at the Station, before continuing to Injiid Marlabu Calls Us. This two-hour immersive experience invites you into the heart of Ngarinyin culture. You’ll witness ancient healing practices, hear captivating generational stories, and gain insights into the history, language, and ancestral heritage of El Questro. This is a unique opportunity to learn directly from the Ngarinyin people, whose profound connection to Country has been passed down for millennia. Rule: to be at Kununurra Airport at least 1 hour prior to flight departures.
Departure from the Homestead: 2 hours and 45 minutes prior to flight departure time.
Arrival flights requiring an unscheduled or private transfer will be met at the time the flight lands at the airport. Please allow to the following travel times depending on which resort guests are staying at:
- Emma Gorge: 1 hour travel time
- The Station: 1 hour and 30 minutes travel time
- The Homestead: 1 hour and 45 minutes travel time.
