During the tour, guests will pause at the Conservation Ecology Centre Research Hub to learn about the conservation projects that Wildlife Wonders is supporting and see research techniques in action. The tour winds along a gentle, 1.4km path suitable to all ages and abilities. Before or after the tour, enjoy refreshments or a light lunch at the café, and browse the gift shop for a memento of the visit. Entry to the Sanctuary is on a guided tour only, led by a conservationist who will point out the plants and animals you see along the walk. During your 75-minute tour you may see koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and emus roaming freely, along with rare species like the adorable potoroo. Every visit makes a difference, with 100% of proceeds invested in vital conservation projects along the Great Ocean Road. You will meet your guide at Wildlife Wonders' Visitor Centre, and embark on a gentle walk along an all-abilities path through bush habitats, grasslands, tree fern gullies and eucalypt woodlands.
