itinerary:	~~ 01-Apr-2026 to 31-Mar-2027~~Valid for 01APR26-31MAR27: Departing Kununurra, this tour begins with a scenic aeroplane flight over the Ord River Irrigation Area, Carlton Hill Station, Wyndham and the Cambridge Gulf, before reaching the coast. Along the way, you will witness stunning views of beautifully patterned mud flats near Wyndham, as well as the magnificent King River, Berkeley River Gorge and King George Falls. Touch down at the remote Mitchell Plateau Airstrip, where you will disembark and then board a pristine HeliSpirit helicopter. This helicopter will transfer you from the Airstrip to the beginning of the walk into the Mitchell Falls. Once you've reached this spot, you will follow your tour guide on a beautiful 4.5 kilometre hike into the stunning Mitchell Falls. This hike can be challenging at points, with uneven tracks and river crossings. Enjoy viewing rock art, Little Merten and Big Merten Falls along the walk. Once arriving at the Falls, you will have time to marvel at their beauty, take a swim in the Mitchell River above the Falls and admire the fascinating flora and fauna of this area. Enjoy a fresh picnic-style lunch before heading back to Kununurra, you will then be transferred via helicopter from the top of the Falls back to the Airstrip, where you will board your return scenic flight to Kununurra. On the flight home, you will pass over Cockburn Range before touching town in Kununurra.~~~~
Important Info:	Valid for 01APR26-31MAR27: - The 4.5km hike requires a high level of mobility as there are numerous slippery creek crossings and rocks to clamber over. - The Mitchell Falls is in a very remote area and if clients are at all unsure about their ability to do the hike, please recommend the helicopter transfer instead - SEE TOUR HT - Wunambal Gaambera Fee of AUD50 is included in the tour rate. - Accurate passenger weights must be provided at time of booking. This is a Civil Aviation legal requirement. - Dietary requirements to be advised at the time of booking.
