Make your own way to Pizzini Wines for the Maker's Journey- Sites, Sips and Barrels. An exclusive vineyard visit and private barrel room tasting where you will sample wines that are unique to Pizzini and the King Valley. Start your journey amongst the vines and learn how the Pizzini vineyard has evolved over the years, and why certain sites are more suited to particular varieties or wine styles than others. From the vineyard you will venture to the winery and explore the barrel room; tasting and learning how wines age in barrel, before returning to Cellar Door to enjoy a tutored tasting, experiencing both current and back vintage wines.
Learn how site and the different ‘makers’ techniques have influenced wine styles over the years and discover firsthand why Italian wine varietals shine with food. After your tasting, select a glass of wine to enjoy with an Italian style grazing platter in the Cellar Door grounds.~~~~
