Bullara Station

Bullara Station is a genuine, working cattle station stay located in the hinterland of the Ningaloo region in northern Western Australia. Our remote backyard stretches for ¼ million acres and yet we are just a 45 minute drive from the world heritage listed Ningaloo Reef. Despite the isolation, we sure know how to live life to the fullest. We invite our guests to relax in comfort, embrace the landscape and share joy in this most amazing part of the world.

The Authentic Station Stay Experience
Edwina and Tim Shallcross invite you to experience the wonders of the raw Australian outback on their working cattle station perfectly situated between Coral Bay and Exmouth, on the Ningaloo coast. We offer a range of accommodation from secluded airconditioned, ensuited safari tents, beautiful self-contained cottages, Bell Tents or try our traditional Shearers Lodge. Our authentic and spacious bush camping (perfect for caravans and tents), powered and unpowered sites. All surrounded with stunning scenery and native wildlife, delivered with rustic charm and first-class country hospitality. Join us in making connections with the land and its people and fostering memories for life.

Relax, Unwind and Explore - Experience the adventures of the outback in style and comfort on this working Cattle Station. Bullara offers an excellent option to the busy campsites along the coast with its central location and accessibility to the Cape Range National Park, Coral Bay and Exmouth. The perfect location to unwind, listen to the birds, walk the red sand dunes, watch the night sky or to just snorkel on the Ningaloo Reef. 2WD accessible.


Our area is renowned for its incredible pristine coastline, so bring the tinny/fishing rod and dive gear along!. Guests on the station will also have exclusive 4WD access to the bottom of the Exmouth Gulf, a unique and protected part of the coast that is teaming with marine and local birdlife. If you are not into fishing, spend the day relaxing on our deck, light the BBQ, watch the water birds and explore the mangrove forest.


The new Woolshed Café can supply you with homemade food and barista coffee each morning between 8am[1]1pm (no bookings necessary, pay as you order), along with evening set-menu meals in our Woolshed. We suggest you book your meal nights prior to arrival to ensure you receive the full Bullara Station experience, of course our home-grown grass-fed beef will be on the menu along with other food options grown within our region.


We are also setup for self-catering in our accommodation, guests are asked to bring enough supplies for the duration of your stay, there is fresh produce/supplies in Exmouth and Coral Bay. Drinking water is provided to all our rooms guests. Highchairs are available for use in accommodation rooms. Currently Bullara does not have a liquor licence, guest will need to bring their own alcoholic beverages.
