Bayside Glamping, Marion Bay – Adults-Only Coastal Retreats

Bayside Glamping offers three private, adults-only stays located in different settings throughout Marion Bay, a quiet seaside town on South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula, approximately 3 hours from Adelaide. Surrounded by coastline, native wildlife, and close to Dhilba Guuranda–Innes National Park, the region is known for its beaches, walking trails, and relaxed coastal atmosphere.

Each accommodation is designed for two guests and positioned at a separate location within the town, offering privacy and a distinct experience depending on the style of stay.

The Sanctuary is the most premium offering—an eco-luxury retreat set on private acreage within walking distance to the jetty and local amenities. Designed with a blend of reclaimed materials and refined finishes, it features a king-sized bed, a spacious bathroom with an indoor bath that opens to the outdoors, air conditioning, and a fireplace for cooler months. Guests can enjoy multiple outdoor decks, a separate enclosed hut with a lounge and indoor BBQ, and a seasonal firepit. An outdoor infrared sauna (arriving soon) will further enhance the experience, positioned to take in the surrounding landscape. The Sanctuary is suited to couples seeking space, comfort, and a more elevated stay experience.

The Tiny House is an off-grid, eco-friendly stay set among open grasslands just outside the town centre. Powered by solar and rainwater, it offers a more rustic yet comfortable experience, with a loft-style queen bed, indoor bathroom, kitchen facilities, gas heating, and an outdoor deck. Kangaroos are often seen grazing nearby, making it ideal for guests wanting a quiet nature-based escape with modern essentials.

The Glamping Tent offers a boutique camping experience without the need to set up or bring equipment. Located on a private block near the coast, the tent is set on a timber deck surrounded by trees, with distant ocean sounds. It includes a comfortable bed, lighting, power access, and a separate enclosed bathroom with hot water. An outdoor kitchen and dining space complete the setup, providing a balance of outdoor living and convenience.

All three stays include private bathroom facilities, cooking provisions, and outdoor space, and are located a short drive from beaches, walking trails, and local attractions. Each accommodation is strictly adults-only and designed for a maximum of two guests.

For groups travelling together, guests can book multiple properties, with The Sanctuary acting as a central space to come together while still maintaining separate private accommodation.
